NovaLight is a nationwide supplier of products and materials for the construction and maintenance of fiber optic and copper networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NovaLight is based in Jasper, Georgia and has been serving the needs of telecom enterprises for the past 20 years. They have an experienced team and offer everything from fiber optic cables and conduit to underground products and testing tools. NovaLight\u2019s growth has been significant with a focus on high service levels to regional telecom providers, regional electric co-ops, municipalities, broadband providers and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe NovaLight team has done an excellent job meeting the needs of their customers across the U.S.,\u201d said Steve Maucieri, CEO of GCG. \u201cAdding them to our organization expands our breadth of offering in this area, enabling us to better meet the needs of current and future communications customers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NovaLight will be a part of our GCG Communications segment that focuses on the needs of telecom and broadband customers across the country. NovaLight and GCG Communications share a culture of responsiveness to customer and supplier needs and a drive to be the customer\u2019s first-choice supply partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NovaLight President Andrea Creighton said that GCG\u2019s national footprint, extensive supplier relationships and commitment to customer service made this a great fit for NovaLight. \u201cGCG has a strong reputation in the telecom markets. Our NovaLight customers will benefit from GCG\u2019s nationwide distribution network and depth of inventory.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NovaLight is GCG\u2019s fifth acquisition in the past 12 months. Acquisitions in 2021 included Allied Wire and Cable, a premier, value-added specialty distributor of wire and cable products. In addition, GCG added C&amp;E Advanced Technologies (C&amp;E) and Advanced Controls &amp; Distribution (ACD), two well-respected automation controls, robotics and cable providers to its portfolio.
